Homecoming!

I went to the homecoming parade yesterday afternoon.........probably for the first time since Sarah was in high school.

I decided to park at Bank 21 and watch from their lawn.  Sarah's bestie from high school, Kari, greeted me at the door wearing a "vintage" shirt from their high school days.

We took a photo to send to Sarah.  It was a beautiful day for a parade.  I caught several of my piano students on various floats............

Lia on the volleyball float above and two cute blond headed twins, Cash and Weston on the St. Peters Soccer float below.

And my reason for going.............these two young people from church were homecoming queen and king candidates..............I am a church mentor for Jadyn.

And David and I went to the game.  Here she is with her parents on the football field at halftime.

I did get some sewing done and a little cleaning done in the sewing room.

I finished the Proposal top!  I love this one.  These aren't my usual colors, but I love this pattern and how it turned out.  (It looks really good with my mums and pumpkins too!)

I also have the binding, backing, and batting ready for it, so we can check that off the "to do" list.

Here's the weekly list.............

1.  Finish binding the potato chip quilt  (Almost done!)

2.  Quilt one of my mom's quilts (there are at least 3 hanging in the tbq closet)

3.  Quilt my friend's quilt (tomorrow)  (Done!  She stopped by this morning and we quilted her Little Ghost quilt.)

4.  Finish the borders on the proposal quilt, make binding and backing and cut batting  (Done!)

5.  Work on the witch hat

6.  Work on a Sunbonnet Witchy Sue block

7.  Jelly roll rug

8.  Bags

So, that's the update on the list!  I have the whole afternoon to work on things now.  I don't even know where to start!

Stay tuned to see what happens!
