Things from the Sewing Room

It says Sewing Room in the title of this blog, but honestly, every morning starts with this...........

Mabel and Harry run inside, eat some breakfast, and then crash in the window seat for most of the day.

Some earlier finishes from this month...........

Turkey Lurky!  This little wall hanging is from a kit I had.  Honestly, the pattern was a little challenging and I don't have any plans to ever make it again.  This will probably go to Sarah's house.  She loves solid fabrics and Thanksgiving is one of her favorite holidays - she loves the food!

And this turkey runner was finished.  I found the turkey blocks in a box of fabric "treasures" I purchased at an auction.  It will probably be donated to the guild bazaar in October.

Here are my blocks for the block lotto this month.  Such bright happy colors!  I have yet to figure out how a person might set these together.  We'll just have to wait to see what the lucky winner does with them.

And here are my blocks for the guild opportunity quilt.  It's going to have a patriotic vibe this year.  There are 4 blocks there, Mabel is just making sure none of them get away.

Well, this is a short blog post.  Let's check to see if there has been any movement at the window seat.......

They truly do have a hard life!
